Dia De Los Muertos, an ancient Aztec holiday and now a tradition honoring ancestors, is an opportunity to celebrate the lives of loved ones and friends.
Traditionally, Dia de los Muertos is the one time of year when the dead are allowed to return to earth to visit with family and friends. The 2008 Dia de los Muertos celebration features traditional entertainment, Calaveras, food, arts and crafts, as well as an alter display and competition.
The day will end with an outdoor sunset Mass lead by Monsignor O'Keeffe and Father Javier of Yuma. Free admission.
